Sarah-Louise Young read drama and English at Bristol University and trained in Musical Theatre at Mountview.
Her theatre credits include ‘Come Blow Your Horn’ and the world premier of ‘Monster’, both at the Royal Exchange, ‘Snow White’ for Tall Stories at the National Theatre Platform Space, UK and US tours and Time Out Critic’s Choice ‘Invisible Storms’, devised and directed by Jamie Harper and Dan Muirden.
She has taken part in two seasons of THE STICKING PLACE’s annual season of Grand Guignol and horror theatre at the Southwark Playhouse, creating the roles of ‘Maxa, the most assassinated woman in the world’ in 2009 and ‘THE MISTRESS OF THE MORGUE’ in 2009. She also completed the full 30 hour Improvathon at the Bristol Old Vic.
On television she has played guest leads in ‘Strictly Confidential’, ‘Casualty’, ‘No Angels’, ‘Holby City’ and ‘Look Around You’ and worked on numerous short films as well as Tim Kirkby’s feature, ‘The Blind Spot’.
She is a member of SHOWSTOPPER! THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL and has worked with charities SCENE AND HEARD and THE LONDON SHAKESPEARE WORKOUT.
